Certified to Install the Stuff We Put on Your House
Siding Is the One Thing You See Every Single Day
Your roof, you never look at. Your siding, you look at every time you pull in the driveway. That's what makes this trade different. Folks call us about siding after four or five years of quietly hating a wall. The vinyl went chalky and faded on the south side. A woodpecker decided your cedar was a snack bar. There's a cracked panel from a hail storm two springs ago and a piece of trim that's been flapping since the ice storm. None of it is an emergency, which is exactly why it never gets fixed.
Then you get three bids and they're eight thousand dollars apart, and not one of them explains why. Here's the part nobody tells you. Siding is the only job where the customer can never check the work. Once those panels go up, you will never again see the house wrap, the flashing around your windows, or whether somebody replaced the soft sheathing or just covered it. A cheap bid usually isn't cheaper labor. It's less house. That's the real thing a Branson siding contractor should be explaining to you, and almost nobody does, because the honest version costs more.

These guys were amazing! I own several homes and rarely do I see service of this caliber. The bid was very honest and reasonable. We decided to move forward and within a few days there were at our house working from dawn until dusk. The job site was always clean and the men were always very respectful and kind. It’s companies and men like this that made America great. You should look no further than Big Chief Exteriors.

I'm Tyler. Let's Make This Easy.
I'm Tyler Arnold, and siding is the trade where I've watched the most people get taken. Not usually by crooks either. Usually by a bid that looked identical to ours on paper and left out three things that mattered. So we do something that probably costs us jobs. We take pictures of the wall after the old siding comes off and before the new stuff goes on, and we send them to you. House wrap. Window flashing. Any rotten sheathing we found and replaced. You get to see the part of your house you'd otherwise be trusting a stranger about.
The other thing we do is set a price for surprises before you ever sign. Nobody knows what's behind a 30 year old wall until it's open, and any Branson siding contractor who promises otherwise is guessing. So we write the per-sheet cost of replacing bad sheathing right on your quote. If we find eight sheets of rot, you already know what that costs. Nothing gets negotiated while your house is sitting there open in the weather. That one page has saved more marriages than I have any business taking credit for.

Three Promises, Written Down Where You Can Hold Us to Them
The Fix It or Refund It Guarantee
If a panel buckles, a seam opens, or water gets behind the wall because of how we installed it, we're back out to fix it fast. No prorating. No trip charges. Nobody blaming the manufacturer. And if we can't make it right, you get your money back. Every single cent.
The $250 Price Match Guarantee
Bring us a written bid from another licensed and insured company with the same product line, the same warranty, and the same wall prep. We'll match the price and hand you $250 in cash for finding a competitor we hadn't heard about. Just make sure both bids say what's going behind the siding.
The Cleanup Guarantee
Siding tear-off makes a mess unlike anything else we do. Little slivers of vinyl get everywhere. Our crews are paid on the cleanup, so we tarp the beds, run magnets for nails, haul off every scrap, then sweep the driveway a second time after the trailer is hooked up.

What Your Neighbors Say About Us
Siding Work, Plus Everything Else Outside
Siding touches your windows, your soffit, your trim, and your roofline, so we handle all of it with one crew instead of four. Here's the list.
Roofing Contractor
We're on the wall anyway, so we'll tell you what the roof looks like. We handle roof repair, roof replacement, metal roofing, roof leak repair, and roof inspection. A leaking roof edge is a common reason siding rots from behind.
Gutter Service
New siding next to bent, sagging gutters looks unfinished. We do gutter installation, seamless gutters, gutter repair, gutter cleaning, and gutter guard installation. Gutters come off for siding work anyway, so replacing them then costs less than doing it later.
Siding Contractor
The full menu. Siding installation, siding repair, siding replacement, and soffit and fascia repair. We're vinyl siding installers doing vinyl siding repair and Georgia Pacific vinyl siding, plus James Hardie siding installation, LP siding installation, cedar siding, wood siding, wood siding repair, and metal siding.
Window Installation Service
Windows and siding belong on the same work order. We do window replacement, window installation, vinyl windows, energy efficient windows, and window rot repair. Doing both together means the flashing and trim get done right one time instead of twice.
Deck Builder
A deck that ties into a wall we're re-siding needs flashing behind it or water gets in. We handle deck repair, deck installation, composite decking, deck railing, and covered patio installation.
Painter
Some walls don't need replaced, they need stripped and painted right. We do exterior painting, log cabin staining, brick painting, and door painting. If your wood siding is solid, paint is a fraction of the cost and we'll say so.
Roofing Contractor
We're on the wall anyway, so we'll tell you what the roof looks like. We handle roof repair, roof replacement, metal roofing, roof leak repair, and roof inspection. A leaking roof edge is a common reason siding rots from behind.
“Very open and honest. Encouraged me to get other bids as well. They were not only the best-priced but also the most organized and open about our plans and options to take. The workers were clean and quick and did everything they could to protect the property. Tyler even came out himself to magnet the driveway so we wouldn’t drive over nails each night bc I have an EV that charges in the garage. Excellent experience! Big Chief definitely goes above and beyond.”

Counties Where We Hang Siding
We work out of Branson and cover a wide stretch of southwest Missouri. Housing stock changes a lot county to county, so here's what we usually find on the walls in each one.
Taney County
Learn MoreBranson, Hollister, Forsyth, Rockaway Beach, Kirbyville, and Merriam Woods. As your Taney County siding contractor we work a lot of cabins and lake homes with cedar siding and wood siding that woodpeckers treat like a buffet. Sun coming off Table Rock fades south and west walls faster than anywhere inland.
Stone County
Learn MoreKimberling City, Reeds Spring, Branson West, Galena, Crane, and Blue Eye. A Stone County siding contractor deals with wind exposure on ridge tops, which loosens panels and pulls trim. Fiber cement and LP hold up better than thin vinyl on those open lots, and we'll tell you when that upgrade is worth it.
Barry County
Learn MoreCassville, Monett, Purdy, Shell Knob, Exeter, and Wheaton. Our Barry County siding contractor crews handle farmhouses, shops, and lake places. Metal siding is common on outbuildings out here, and a lot of old wood siding just needs repair and paint instead of full replacement.
Christian County
Learn MoreNixa, Ozark, Sparta, Clever, and Highlandville. As a Christian County siding contractor we replace a great deal of builder-grade vinyl and old hardboard on 1990s and early 2000s subdivisions. Those walls are all aging out at once, and hardboard swelling at the bottom edge is the tell.
Lawrence County
Learn MoreAurora, Mt. Vernon, Marionville, Pierce City, and Verona. A Lawrence County siding contractor sees hail-cracked vinyl out this direction every spring. Cracks on the north and east walls tell us the storm direction, and sometimes only two walls need siding replacement.

Siding Questions Folks Ask Before They Call Anybody
Who's the best siding contractor in Branson?
Everybody claims the title, so ask better questions. Ask any Branson siding contractor what house wrap they use, whether they re-flash the windows, and what happens if they find rotten sheathing. If the answer to that last one isn't a dollar figure written on the quote, keep looking.
How much does new siding cost around here?
It swings widely based on square footage, how many stories, how much trim work, and the material. Vinyl siding is the most affordable. LP and James Hardie cost more and last longer. We won't guess over the phone. You get three real options in writing with the monthly payment printed next to each total.
Vinyl, LP, or James Hardie? Which should I pick?
Depends on your house and your budget, and any of the three is a fine answer. Vinyl is affordable and never needs painted. LP siding installation gives you a real wood-grain look that takes our climate well. James Hardie siding installation is fiber cement, so it shrugs off woodpeckers, hail, and sun. We'll show you samples on your actual wall in daylight before you decide.
Can you just repair one section instead of doing the whole house?
Often, yes, and we'd rather. Siding repair on one wall is a real option after storm damage. The catch is color. Vinyl fades over ten years, so a new panel next to old panels rarely matches perfectly. We'll pull the old siding from a less visible wall to patch the front when that's possible.
What do you do if you find rot behind my siding?
We photograph it, text you the picture, and charge the per-sheet price that's already printed on your quote. No renegotiating while the wall is open. Finding some soft spots on a 30 year old house is normal, not a catastrophe.
How long does a siding job take?
Most homes run three to six days once material is on site. Bigger houses, steep lots, and heavy trim work take longer. You'll get a start date, crew names and a photo the first morning, and a text at every stage even when there's nothing new to say.
Will new siding lower my energy bill?
A little, and honestly less than the ads promise. Insulated vinyl siding helps some. The bigger wins are usually air sealing, attic insulation, and windows. We'd rather tell you that now than have you disappointed at the January bill.
A woodpecker put holes in my cedar. Do I need a whole new wall?
Usually not. Woodpecker damage is common on cedar siding and wood siding around the lake, and it's often a repair, not a replacement. If they keep coming back it's usually because there are insects in the wall, which is a different problem worth solving first.
