I kept seeing good families across the Ozarks paying for exterior work twice. So we built a different kind of company: we inspect before we sell, write one detailed fixed price, use our own trained crews, and photograph every layer we cover up.
We are family-owned, we run the business on our faith, and we give back to the Ozarks every quarter. Our name honors the people who called these hills home first, and the idea of a chief as the one who protects the people in their care. That is the job: protect your home, so you can enjoy it.

How much does exterior remodeling cost in Branson?
Our installed averages are $4 to $20 per square foot for roofing, $6 to $15 per square foot for siding, $8 to $20 per united inch for windows (width plus height), $10 to $12 per linear foot for gutters and $55 to $75 per square foot for composite decks.
Painting and staining average $5 to $9 per square foot, depending on how much prep work and repair the surface needs. Screened-in porches average $30 to $85 per square foot, and four-season rooms average $125 to $200 per square foot.
Material moves the number most. In roofing, shingles are the lowest-priced, then metal, then Brava. In siding, vinyl is the lowest-priced, then LP SmartSide, then James Hardie. Windows and decks vary with the features and colors you choose. These are averages, so your fixed price comes after a free estimate, and every option comes with a monthly price.
Do you offer financing for exterior projects?
Yes. Big Chief offers two plans for exterior projects: a 12-month promotional plan with interest waived if paid in full, or the Low-Monthly Plan at a fixed 12.16% APR for 180 months. Both are subject to credit approval.
The Low-Monthly Plan works out to about $12 a month for every $1,000 financed, so a project's monthly payment is easy to estimate. Every price we quote has a monthly twin, and the calculator on this page shows any project or add-on price in monthly terms. Cash and financed customers get the same system, the same crew and the same warranty.

Do you do roof repairs?
Yes. We typically do small roof repairs for free when we do your free estimate.
If the repair needed is extensive, we weigh the cost of repair against the cost of replacement with you, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you. A repair makes sense when the rest of the roof still has good years left. Replacement makes sense when repairs would only buy a little time.
We also look at whether your roof may qualify for insurance coverage. We do not give insurance advice, but we will tell you honestly what we find on your roof.
