How much do Marvin windows cost?
Marvin windows in Branson average $12 to $25 per united inch installed, depending on the line and the options you choose. A united inch is the window's width plus its height.
For example, a window that is 36 inches wide and 60 inches tall is 96 united inches, which works out to roughly $1,150 to $2,400 installed at those averages. Marvin Ultimate is for unique and custom projects, so we price it after we see what you want.
These are averages, so your fixed price comes after a free estimate. Projects of any size are welcome, with several payment options: monthly payments, or do the project now and pay later.
Marvin or Andersen?
We install Marvin. The main difference is the frame: Marvin Essential and Elevate use Ultrex fiberglass, while Andersen's popular 100 Series and A-Series use Fibrex, a composite of about 60% thermoplastic polymer and 40% wood fiber.
Fiberglass is rigid, expands and contracts at nearly the same rate as glass, and allows thinner frames with more glass. Both brands also offer wood-clad lines, such as Andersen's 400 Series and E-Series. Warranties are typically 20 years on the glass for both, and about 10 years on the frame for Marvin, while Andersen ranges from 5 to 10 years depending on the line. Warranty terms vary by product, so we confirm them with you at your Free Estimate.
A window is only as good as its installation, which is why we flash and seal every opening and photograph what is behind the old window. We show you Marvin samples and the payment options, so you can compare with any other quote you have.
What's the difference between Essential, Elevate and Ultimate?
Marvin Essential is Ultrex fiberglass inside and out, Marvin Elevate is Ultrex fiberglass outside with natural wood interiors, and Marvin Ultimate is for unique and custom requests on very high-end projects.
Essential is Ultrex fiberglass inside and out. Elevate is Ultrex fiberglass outside with natural wood interiors inside. Ultimate is extruded aluminum outside with natural wood interiors inside, and it is where custom sizes, shapes and specifications live.
At your Free Estimate we show you samples of each and talk through payment options, and we tell you honestly which line suits your home.
Fiberglass or vinyl windows?
Choose vinyl windows for the lower price and the least upkeep. Choose Marvin fiberglass windows if you want a rigid frame, thinner frames with more glass and a more premium look.
Our vinyl windows are NT Windows Presidential 900 series, which average $8 to $20 per united inch. Marvin windows average $12 to $25.
Fiberglass is rigid and expands and contracts at nearly the same rate as glass. For black windows we recommend Marvin over vinyl, because of the cost difference and the durability of Ultrex fiberglass in black. Both are custom-measured and built to order, and at your Free Estimate we show you samples of each.
How long is the lead time on Marvin windows?
Marvin windows are made to order, and the typical lead time is 4 to 6 weeks.
That wait is before install day, not during it. We custom-measure every opening, order your windows, and schedule your install once they arrive.
Planning ahead gets you the date you want, so book your Free Estimate early if you have a deadline.
