Build days

What to expect on build days.

No surprises. Here is how we protect your property, keep you informed and leave your home clean.

Property protection

What we do

Full property protection is part of every project, and your project manager walks through what needs protecting on your pre-construction call.

What helps

  • Tell us about gardens, statues, play sets or anything fragile near the work
  • Move vehicles, patio furniture and grills away from the house

Daily photo texts

What we do

Our crew sends a daily text with photos, and we photograph every hidden layer before it is covered. Those photos go in your Home Passport.

What helps

  • Reply with a question any time, and your project manager will answer
  • Out of town? The photos are the same, wherever you are

Cleanup

What we do

We clean as we go. Roofs get a magnetic nail sweep, and old gutters, windows and other removed materials are hauled away.

What helps

  • Tell us if you find anything we missed
  • We cover the final cleanup at your walkthrough

Noise

What we do

Tear-off, hammering and saws are loud, and some days are louder than others. Your project manager tells you which days to expect it.

What helps

  • Plan remote work or naps for a quieter room
  • Pets may be happier away from the house or in an interior room
  • Pictures and shelves on exterior walls can rattle, so secure what matters

Parking and access

What we do

Crews need room to work and to stage materials. We confirm access, a place for materials and trash, and where crews will park on your pre-construction call.

What helps

  • Leave the driveway and the area near the work clear
  • Let us know about gates, narrow drives, HOA rules or shared roads

Schedule and weather

What we do

Your project manager sets the dates with you and tells you plainly if weather means a day moves.

What helps

  • Share any dates that matter, like guest bookings or events
  • Expect a text if the plan changes

Our crews generally start at 8 AM and work until late evening. In the summer we generally start around 7 AM instead. For most projects the dumpster goes in your driveway. For a deck build, we place it as close to the work site as possible.
