How much does a new front door cost?
A new front door in Branson averages $1,000 to $4,000 installed for steel and fiberglass doors. Custom doors and sizes can vary widely with the features and materials you choose.
A plain door costs less than one with sidelights, a transom, decorative glass or upgraded hardware. Marvin TruStile custom doors are priced after we see what you want.
These are averages, so your fixed price comes after a free estimate. Projects of any size are welcome, with several payment options: monthly payments, or do the project now and pay later.
Fiberglass, aluminum or wood entry door?
We install steel entry doors and fiberglass entry doors. Aluminum and wood entry doors are not part of our standard lineup.
Both come with sidelights, transoms and decorative glass available. If you want something more custom, ask us about Marvin TruStile entry doors, which we price after a visit.
At your Free Estimate we show you samples and talk through payment options, and we tell you honestly which suits your home.
Do you replace the frame too, or just the door?
It depends on what we find. At your Free Estimate we look at the frame, the threshold and the wall around the door, and we tell you whether the frame can stay.
Where we find rot or damage, the frame is replaced and the wall is repaired. Every front door replacement includes a sill pan under the door, flashing and a clean finish.
We photograph what is behind the old door before it is covered, and the photos go in your Home Passport.
Can I add sidelights to my existing opening?
Yes. We offer sidelights and transoms, and we look at your opening at the Free Estimate to confirm what fits.
Adding sidelights to an existing opening usually means making the opening wider, which changes the framing around it. We check the wall and the framing, then include it all in your fixed price.
Decorative glass is available for the door, sidelights and transom.
How long does a front door installation take?
A front door replacement averages 1 day on site.
We handle the old door, the frame check, the sill pan and flashing, the new door, hardware and cleanup. You get a walkthrough when we finish.
Custom doors and larger openings can take longer, and we tell you the schedule at your Free Estimate.
