Gutter financing details

Straight answers

Seamless gutter installation questions from Branson and Table Rock Lake homeowners.

How much do seamless gutters cost?

New K-style seamless gutters in Branson cost $10 to $12 per linear foot installed.

For example, a home with 150 feet of gutter works out to roughly $1,500 to $1,800 at that range. Your total depends on how many linear feet of roofline you have, how many corners and downspouts the house needs, and whether you choose gutter guards.

Gutter guards are priced separately at $10 to $12 per linear foot. Those are averages, so your fixed price comes after a free estimate, and you have several payment options, including monthly payments. Fascia repair or wrap, underground drainage, valley diverters and rain chains are add-ons we quote at the Free Estimate.

Do I need 6-inch gutters?

For most Ozarks homes, yes. 6-inch gutters carry more water than the standard 5-inch size, and paired with oversized 3x4 downspouts they are much harder to overwhelm in a heavy downpour.

They matter most on large or steep roofs, roofs with valleys, and homes under tall hardwoods. Every Big Chief gutter system uses 6-inch seamless gutters with 3x4 downspouts, which have twice the opening of standard downspouts, so you do not have to upgrade to get them.

On a small, simple roof with little tree cover, a smaller gutter may keep up. At your Free Estimate we tell you honestly what your roof needs.

Why do my gutters overflow in heavy rain?

Gutters overflow when they are clogged, too small for the roof above them, pitched wrong, or short on downspouts. In the Ozarks, undersized gutters are the most common cause.

A roof sheds a lot of water in a hard downpour, and a 5-inch gutter with a small downspout cannot move it fast enough. Valleys that dump water into one spot, sagging runs and loose hangers make it worse.

At your free estimate we look at the size, pitch and downspouts of your current gutters and tell you which problem you have. Sometimes a cleaning or a repair is enough. If the gutters are simply too small, new 6-inch seamless gutters with oversized downspouts fix the cause.

How long do aluminum gutters last?

Aluminum does not rust, but how long gutters last depends mostly on how they are installed and kept up. We do not quote a lifespan figure.

Gutter size, pitch, hangers and downspouts all affect how well a system holds up, and so do leaves and debris left in the run. Seamless gutters have fewer joints that can leak, and our hidden hangers screw into the fascia.

Our Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty covers our workmanship for as long as you own your home. A yearly gutter tune-up is available as an add-on.

Can you replace rotted fascia when you replace my gutters?

Yes. Hidden hangers screw into the fascia, so we repair or wrap rotted fascia first, and we look at the soffit while we are there.

Gutters hung on soft or rotted fascia will not stay put, so we deal with the wood before the new gutters go up. Fascia replacement or wrap is an add-on we quote at your Free Estimate.

If your roofline needs more than gutters, a roof replacement is a natural time to do it all at once.
