Why we call it a better life.
We are family-owned, and we run the business on our faith. Taking care of our people is part of that.
The Better Life Fund was created because every person here has goals bigger than their job. Within your first 90 days, and again each January, you and Tyler Arnold build a one-page Better Life plan with one to three personal goals. The company helps fund them.
What the company contributes

What the money can go toward
- First home
- After two years, Big Chief matches your down-payment savings dollar for dollar up to $2,500, and does the exterior work on your new home at cost.
- Debt freedom
- Free financial coaching or a money course of your choice, plus a $500 celebration bonus when your consumer debt is paid off.
- Education
- School and certifications through the education benefit.
- Family
- A $500 wedding gift, a new-baby gift, $100 per child each August for school supplies, and Silver Dollar City season passes for your household after one year.
- Health
- Up to $40 a month toward a gym or YMCA membership.
